CONTROL VALVE & SAFETY RELIEF VALVES TESTING
- Control Valve Testing in the testing industry ensures that control valves function correctly by evaluating their performance, pressure handling, leakage, and response time. It includes functional tests, seat leakage tests, and pressure tests to verify reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards for safe and optimal operation in various applications.
- We at Nagman Calibration Services LLP have full-fledged facilities, built-in with all necessary Flow parameter measurements that are essential to test the Cv values directly, & to meet the recommended Standards (ANSI/ISA-75.02-1996 and ANSI/ISA-75.01-2002), even for very large size Control valves up.
Control Valve Testing Solutions | Nagman Calibration
- Ensure optimal performance with advanced control valve testing solutions. Discover precise and reliable testing equipment at Nagman Calibration.

The Unique Advantage of Performing Cv Tests at Nagman include
- Control & Recording of flow rates etc., Flow Characteristics are measured at equal interval percentages (at different strokes) from 10 % to 100 %, to plot the Valve Characteristic Curve (Cv at different strokes)
- Capability to test large size control valves Up to 16
- Coefficient Calculation Accuracy: ±5 %
- Additional Valve opening positions (stroke %) per Customer request
- Cv test can be Witnessed by customers on request
- Minimum turn-around time
What We Calibrate?
- Electric Sleeve Control Valve, control-valves, Electric Hard Seat Butterfly Valve, Gate Valve, etc.

Electric Hard Seat Butterfly Valve
A hard seat butterfly valve with an electric actuator is a valve used to control or stop fluid flow in pipelines. It features a metal seat for durability and operates automatically using an electric motor.

Control Valves
Valves that regulate the flow, pressure, or level of fluids in a system by adjusting their opening according to signals from a controller, helping maintain stable and efficient process operations.

Electric Sleeve Control Valve
An electrically actuated control valve that uses a sleeve structure to precisely regulate fluid flow and pressure in pipelines, providing stable performance and accurate process control.

Gate Valve
A valve designed to start or stop the flow of liquids in a pipeline by lifting or lowering a gate inside the valve, providing tight shut-off with minimal pressure loss when fully open.

Angle Valve
A valve designed with a 90-degree angle between inlet and outlet, used to control or shut off fluid flow in pipelines while reducing pressure drop and allowing convenient installation in piping systems.

Globe Valve
A valve used to regulate or stop fluid flow in a pipeline by moving a disc against a stationary seat, allowing precise throttling and reliable shut-off in many industrial systems.

Ball Valve
A valve that controls fluid flow using a rotating ball with a hole through it, allowing quick shut-off and tight sealing in pipelines when the ball turns open or closed.
CONTROL VALVES & SAFETY RELIEF VALVES TESTING
Control Valve Testing is proving to be a complex Measurement. In general Control Valve Manufacturers are facing practical difficulties for testing large size Valves (typically over 10â€) through reputed & NABL accredited Fluid Flow Laboratories – & hence bound to theoretically calculate the Control valve coefficient ‘Kv’& deriving CV values.
